This may be premature but I'm feeling like I can get back to my work at last. It's 9 months since my stroke and, thanks to excellent help from the NHS, I'm getting the use of my right side back. I still walk with a stick, and rather jerkily, but I can get on to the boats and get about on my trike. The worst thing is still tiredness. If I have a busy day I feel like I've just run a marathon. I'm staying in today. I was going to go out but as I was getting the trike ready I realised that I was pushing it too much.
One of the things that I have done is get the Wooden Canal Boat Society listed on Good Hub with a fundraiser for buying the boatyard. It's only just gone up and no-one has contributed yet. Who is going to start it off?
